China's mold industry has a new opportunity for development
The total output value of China's mould industry will exceed 2 trillion yuan by 2015. With the development of manufacturing industry in developed countries, China's mold industry is ushering in a new round of development opportunities. Although domestic mold exports have been increasing in recent years, the level of international competitiveness has also improved. But most of them are concentrated in the middle and low fields, the technical level of the mold is low, the added value is low, and the high precision mould must depend on the import, so the domestic mould manufacturing industry should strengthen the integration in various fields.
The implementation of expanding domestic demand strategy will promote the development of China's manufacturing industry. The development of automobile molds mainly depends on the introduction of new models, and more than 90% of the plastic products are molded by moulds, because this plastic mold accounts for 45% of the total amount of mould in our country. China's plastic products are close to 60 million tons in 2012, and their annual growth is between 15% and 20%.

By introducing foreign capital, the mould industry of our country has absorbed the advanced experience, advanced technology and high level talents of mould manufacturing abroad, and the design and manufacturing level of our mould have been greatly improved. To strengthen the independent innovation, all industries in the transformation of growth mode, optimize the industrial structure, all more need high level of mold machinery and equipment, for the development of the mold industry to provide a broad space for development. More importantly, the implementation of the 12th Five-Year, the development policy of the emerging strategic industries, the regional development planning and the policy of revitalizing the equipment manufacturing industry will provide a new growth point for the mold industry.
Due to the manufacturing costs of other developed countries, the demand for medium and low-end moulds, including some middle and high-end moulds, is mainly solved through external procurement. China's mold level and export capacity can fully meet the needs, so the mold export market space is huge. At present, China's mold industry has formed a number of distinctive production bases of mold industry clusters, providing a platform for the scientific development of mould enterprises, and the innovation ability of enterprises has been continuously improved, with a number of independent intellectual property rights, and the mould enterprises in China will have strong competitiveness in the future.
